Darling Travel is pleased to offer our clients Travel Insurance through . This insurance provides financial protection if your trip is cancelled, interrupted or delayed for the following reasons:
Trip Cancellation Pays for certain non-refundable expenses due to the cancellation of your trip caused by a covered reason.
Trip Interruption Pay for certain additional non-refundable expenses due to an interruption of your trip caused by a covered reason.
Travel Delay Provides coverage if you are delayed while at the beginning or during the course of your trip for more than 12 hours due to a covered reason.
Baggage and Personal Effects Provides coverage for baggage or other personal effects that are lost, damaged or stolen while on your trip. This coverage is secondary to any coverage provided by a common carrier.
Baggage Delay Reimburses for the purchase of essential items if your baggage is delayed for more than 24 hours.
Medical or Dental Expense If you become sick or are accidentally injured while on your trip, we will pay for necessary medical, surgical, and emergency dental care costs. This coverage is excess over any other health, medical, dental, or accident insurance coverage you may have available to you.
Emergency Assistance (Emergency Medical Transportation) These services are only available through On Call International. If you become sick or injured on your trip, On Call International will:
Arrange for and transport you to the nearest suitable medical facility;
Provide you with assistance to return home;
Provide round-trip economy airfare to send someone of your choice to be with you if you are traveling alone and are in the hospital for more than 10 days;
Return your children home with an escort if you are traveling with them and they are left unattended;
Arrange for and transport your remains to your home city in the event of your death.
Air Flight Accident Provides coverage for loss of life or limbs in the event of an accident while traveling as a ticketed passenger on a certified passenger aircraft provided by a regularly-scheduled airline.
Rental Car Damage (Not available in OR and TX) Provides primary coverage if the car you rented while on your trip is damaged due to collision, fire, flood, theft, vandalism, windstorm or hail.
